'Good Morning' from the farm! Hoping this finds each of you well & believing... Lately as I've went about my business, trying to meet & greet my obligations with ease & happiness, I sometimes seem to fall behind on enthusiasm. ****************************************** This morning as I was enjoying my coffee & pondering on today's duties, I suddenly had the desire to search out some verses on 'Stewardship'... And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily , as to the Lord, and not unto men. Colossians 3:23 He has bestowed upon me few things to care for & enjoy... so therefore, I have the responsibility to do well with those things that have been given, after all... 'the earth is the Lord's and everything in it'... He will make sure 'ALL' is well! I'm looking to 'Him' for approval & NOT to man... I know 'He' has gotten EVERYTHING covered! |

Blooming Flowers... bring about a 'WELLNESS' to the soul, whether they are flourishing in the garden, being gifted to a friend OR as a few, simple stems tucked into an old, 'Ball' jar... there's NO preference to a PASSIONATE gardener that lives with a garden growing in her HEART! |

CUTTING gardens are a PASSION here at the farm... NOT only do they provide a small portion of income, BUT they offer EACH day with a GOOD mood... BEAUTY... & a place of TRANQUILITY! WHY wouldn't ANYONE not delight in the presence of FLOWERS, is BEYOND my garden gate! |

'Granna's Rose in my window' FLOWERS come with sentimental qualities as well... such as the ROSE (above) was swiped from 'Granna's' little garden one evening as I was walking home. I choose to settled it into a small, ironstone creamer which I remembered as a child being apart of 'Granna's' collection... how appropriate! |

AND... straight from my garden... the 'Wisteria' vine trailing atop a pergola, weaving about to create a shelter area for those evening dinners... all awhile furnishing tables with an abundance of homegrown GOODNESS! Can you guess... FRESH~CUT FLOWERS are an important staple to my home & my soul! |

Good Morning... Folks! I'm DELIGHTED you have chosen to stop in for a visit! As you ALL may know... I LOVE bringing a little of nature indoor whatever season it may be. For a year now I have gathered FEATHERS from where my Guineas have shed them all about the farm, SO you KNOW I have one, fine collection! They have been tucked here & there throughout the home, JUST as the vintage, ironstone teapot has been a dropping spot for when I stroll back in from the afternoon feeding. It's TRULY amazing... how the SMALLEST of things bring SUCH delight! |

ALL these Old & New... fill my home to MUCH delight, as for me... I would have it NO other way! You will find... clusters of Old, Vintage Books on the mantle, night stands, shelves & all about. They are ACTUALLY taken aside to be read by family, friends & visitors alike, they create SUCH the conversation piece! I LOVE changing by the COLOR palette of each books binding... to enhance the season OR to fit the style! The CURRENT liking is to discard the binding, with the pages being exposed, tied with twine & little pleasure's tucked in! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And among the NEW... |

I have 'HEARTS' on my mind... today! I know it's January, BUT a girl can dream of... LOVE & ROMANCE can't she??? Valentine's Day is ummm... '38' days away, I think I may have enough time to prepare IF I start now... BECAUSE, you see... I have 'SWEET' plans turning in my mind for a 'Valentine Social' here on the farm.
